I left the house at 3:30 and drove west to Miller's Falls, MA to the Element Brewing & Distilling Company. It was basically a straight shot down Route 2, and was a great drive. The bartender, Liz, was very friendly, and she answered all of my questions as I drank a very good Quantum IPA. I grabbed a 4-pack of that, and a pair of Crispr IPAs, plus two pint glasses. The place was small and clean, and seems like a fun place to hang out.
Then it was dinner at Sarah & Jon's. He made homemade french fries, and when Celia got home soon after, she made fantastic cheeseburgers out of fresh ground beef, Harvati cheese and brioche buns. The Quantum IPA was even better out of the can, with a floral hint that made it a recent favorite for all of us present.
