I went down to the lake at 2:00 pm today to get out of the house again (I'd run a bunch of errands at Watertower Plaza earlier). It was colder than I'd dressed for, so I didn't go for my usual walk, but I stayed for about fifteen minutes, just enjoying the view and chilly fresh air.
After all of the rain earlier this week the water level has risen very noticeably. I guess they knew what they were doing when they drained it weeks ago...
