I went to the lake for the first time in awhile, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, to walk and read and enjoy the sunset. It was sweatshirt weather, but sunny and dry. I listened to the latest Chillhop compilation on my Bandcamp app as I walked, and there were a lot of good views of the sun going down over various treescapes along my walk. Plus, only 4 cars passed me in total on the one-mile circuit.
I read off & on in between 'eyes closed staring at the sun' spaces. I didn't eat the tangerines. It was an evening well-spent, sandwiched in between post-rush hour and darkness.
It'll be nice to have the place to myself for 9 whole days
while the rest of the family is on the west coast next week...
